Mauricio Lorence was born in Panama and immigrated to New York with his family in 1956. Mauricio Lorence has studied the history of Brooklyn, also the changes that have taken place by first hand experience.
Mauricio Lorence has a B.A. in Sociology from St. Francis College and an M.A. In Japanese Language and Culture from Seton Hall University, South Orange, New Jersey.
